Seattle (May 6, 2008)--Audio Agent LLC has named Tom Menrath as vice president of Brand Management. Menrath brings with him national sales and marketing management experience gained as the former director of Business Development for Guitar Center.
“Beyond the role of a traditional consultant, who merely makes suggestions, Tom's new group at Audio Agent will actually do the work to help clients grow,” explained Audio Agent President Dave Christenson. “In simple terms, Tom will act as an ‘outsourced’ sales and marketing manager for interested clients. He’ll provide them with a high degree of brand management expertise, and coordinate with the ‘boots on the ground’ to get the job done.”
Before joining Audio Agent, Menrath was most recently Director of Business Development at Guitar Center and principal architect of GC Pro. Prior to that, Menrath served at both Mesa/Boogie and Monster Cable, Inc. in director of Sales and Marketing roles.

New York (May 5, 2008)--John "JC" Convertino, the man behind the music mix on ABC's morning show, Good Morning America, has been using Shure UHF-R wireless for the broadcast.
Convertino has spent the last 10 years mixing everyone from Bruce Springsteen and Rascal Flatts to Maroon 5 and Lenny Kravitz--not that he has time to gloat about it. "The pace here is exceptionally fast, with each artist essentially showing up just as they would for any other tour stop," said Covertino. "We have to do all the work required of a full-blown concert at Madison Square Garden and more, but usually just for two or three songs. If there's any real trick to it all, it's making each guest sound just like they do on their records."
